We just experienced our first DRE complaint and office audit. This of course prompted several sleepless nights and LOTS of anxiety on my part. The investigator arrived and asked to see the files of 3 owners and all the properties they own. We took him directly (did not allow him to pass go or to collect $200) to the file cabinets and let him pick which files he wanted to pursue. After the audit was completed (successfully I might add) he explained that he can usually tell whether an office will pass an audit by the condition of the files. He was VERY impressed with our filing system and so are we! Not only are files much easier to find and use with the new end tab folders but it is also much easier to tell when a file is missing. I know I was reluctant to spend the money for the conversion and even if I wasnt already sold on the system - the investigator's comments certainly would have cinched the deal.

ST.LUKE'S HUMAN RESOURCES:

Recently, St. Lukes Human Resources Department moved to a new location and converted approximately 3500 empoyee files to the high density mobile filing system, purchased from, and installed by, POS of Idaho.

Their installers did a fabulous job of working around less-than-ideal conditions. We even had Saturday delivery by POS employees of the Add-a-Tab labels as they were hot off the press.

This move and file conversion was quite an undertaking, but through it all, we found POS employees to be very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. We continue to receive support and follow-up from them. Even though the labels don't prevent human error in filing, we truely appreciate the ease with which these occasional mis-files are located.
